The prices shown are starting points. Final scope and cost are confirmed with you in writing before we touch the watch. No surprise charges at collection.
Service Warranty on Our Work
Servicing and lubrication carries a written warranty. If the watch doesn't perform as it should after leaving us, bring it back and we'll look at it again.
Experience with Vintage Calibres
Older movements require different knowledge and patience than modern ones. We've worked with a wide variety of Swiss, Japanese, and vintage calibres over the years.
Straightforward Communication
We explain what we find in plain language, not jargon. If something is beyond our scope, we'll say so directly rather than attempting work we're not best placed to do.

When a vintage watch arrives that hasn't been opened in twenty years, the first step is an unhurried assessment of what's inside. We note the condition, identify what needs attention, and share that note with the owner before any work begins.

For a crystal and crown repair, we confirm the replacement parts and their cost with the owner before ordering. Work begins only after that confirmation — by phone, message, or in person, whichever suits the owner.

Three Things We Do That Aren't Standard
Agreed Written Plans for Restorations
Before a vintage restoration begins, we prepare a written plan that outlines what needs to be done, why, and at what cost. The owner reviews and agrees to this plan. It becomes the guide for the work and the record of it.
Honest Notes When Nothing Is Needed
If a watch comes in and our assessment is that it doesn't need anything yet, we say so. We'd rather lose a small service fee than carry out work that wasn't warranted. Owners notice this, and it's the basis of a longer relationship.
Resealing and Resistance Testing After Crystal Work
Where a case design allows, we reseal and test water resistance after crystal and crown repairs. This step isn't always offered at the same price point, but we include it because a repaired watch should perform as well as it did before.
