Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 May 2025  ·  Effective: 8 May 2025

These terms apply to the repair and restoration services provided by Aroon Dial and to use of our website.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By bringing a watch to our workshop, submitting an enquiry, or agreeing to an assessment, you accept these terms. Our services are available to persons aged 18 and over who have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.

3. Service Description

We offer watch servicing and lubrication, crystal and crown repair, and complete vintage restoration. Services are carried out from our Bangkok workshop. We do not currently offer postal or collection services; watches should be brought to and collected from the workshop in person.

We reserve the right to decline to work on a particular piece if we determine it falls outside our current scope or expertise. In such cases, we will advise you accordingly.

4. Service Scope and Assessments

Before any repair work begins, we prepare a written assessment of the watch's condition. This includes a description of what we propose to do, the parts required, and the expected cost. Work does not begin until you have reviewed and agreed to the assessment.

If unforeseen issues arise during the work that would require additional parts or labour beyond the agreed scope, we will pause and contact you before proceeding. You may choose to extend the scope, reduce it, or request that the watch be returned in its current state.

5. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Starting prices are as published; final pricing is confirmed in the written assessment before work begins. Payment is due in full on collection of the watch.

We accept cash and standard bank transfer. A watch may be held at our workshop until outstanding payment is settled. If a watch is not collected and payment not arranged within 60 days of completion, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking any further steps.

Refunds and Cancellations

If you change your mind after agreeing to an assessment but before work begins, you may cancel at no charge. If work has begun, reasonable charges for labour and any ordered parts may apply. We will discuss this with you openly.

6. Service Warranty

We provide a written service warranty on servicing and lubrication work. The warranty covers the work carried out and applies provided the watch has been used normally and has not been opened by a third party after leaving our workshop.

If you believe the watch is not performing as it should following our work, please contact us. We will examine the watch and discuss the appropriate response.

7. Client Responsibilities

By entrusting a watch to us, you confirm that you are the owner or have authority from the owner to request the work. You agree to provide accurate information about the watch's history and any previous repairs where known.

You agree to collect your watch within a reasonable time after being notified of completion. Watches left for extended periods beyond 90 days of notification without communication will be handled in accordance with applicable Thai law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — text, images, and design — is our property or used with permission. You may view our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content without our prior written agreement.

9. Disclaimers

Our website is provided for information purposes. While we take care to ensure the content is accurate, we make no representations about its completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.

Repair outcomes depend on the condition of the watch and available parts. We cannot always restore a watch to its original performance, particularly for very old or rare pieces. We will communicate honestly about what is and isn't achievable.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including sentimental value, except where required by Thai consumer protection law.

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including unavailability of parts.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misrepresentation of ownership, provision of inaccurate information, or use of our website in a manner that causes harm to us or a third party.

12. Termination

Either party may end the service arrangement at any point before work begins, at no charge. Once work has commenced, the provisions of Section 5 (Payment Terms) apply. Sections relating to limitation of liability and dispute resolution survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. If a dispute arises, we prefer to resolve it directly and informally. Please contact us at [email protected] in the first instance.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

14. General Provisions

These terms constitute the full agreement between us regarding our services. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
